Tekken 6

Tekken 6 is the latest entry in the series Tekken, Namco, has released to Japanese arcades on November 26, 2007. It is the first game to be released in the System 357 arcade system based on the Playstation 3. At the Tokyo Game Show 2008, it was announced that the console version of Tekken 6, which will include new stages and characters from Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion, will be released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
On October 27, 2009, Namco announced it would release a version of the game for the PlayStation Portable, with additional content.


Content and new features

Katsuhiro Harada, director of Tekken 6, said game preserve all the elements from Tekken 5 and Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection, for they were well received by fans. He also said that the stages will be bigger and have more interactivity, walls and floors that can be destroyed to reveal new fighting environments, for example. The character customization feature will also have greater involvement in the gameplay.

In addition, the game adds a new rage system, which gives characters more power to attack when your bar is almost depleted of vitality. When the system is activated, a red field begins to surround the character and vitality of your bar starts flashing red. The versions of the game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 include an online multiplayer mode through Xbox Live and PSN, respectively.

The home versions will have an additional mode that continues the Tekken Force mode in Tekken 3 and Tekken 4 and Tekken 5 Devil Within. The mode can be played cooperatively between two players, and allows players to use weapons like rods of iron or gun.
